Sometimes I buy 100LL av gas and mix it with my gas. The Av gas has about three times the TEL that "Ethyl" used to have in the day. I just don't like dealing with the buildup in the back of the exhaust valves and the valve faces. I don't need to use it in the bike at all, it runs just fine on todays premium. I run the Lucas fuel treatment in the gas to keep the combustion chambers clean and in this way I don't have any carbon buildup to increase my compression past the 11:1 it already is. I just run the booster in the supercharged Jaguar because of the shitty gas we have here in Chicago. That has two Catalytic converters at $3500 each and I am not going to screw them up with TEL. Unless your bike engine is 12:1 or more you do not require any booster or very little if you do. Every once in a while I put some in the bike to see if the engine runs differently with it, which will give me an indicator that something is wrong. I do however have a good supply of Nitromethane which I sometimes add to the gas for a bit of a boost just for shits-n-giggles. But that's another story.
