Valve guide size was created by bromz
I removed my worn valve guide and bought a standard to replace it. Slides right in! So I ordered a .002 and .004 oversized same thing. Where do I go from here?

Did metal come out with it?
www.kzzone.com/valves.html
They have a larger size.
In the day I had a friend knerl a valve guide on his lathe. Metal came out with the old one. It worked well.

Thats why you should glass bead the combustion chambers/ports to get all of the carbon out of there first. ;)

Knurling the inside of guides to take the slop out used to be a common thing,Ive never seen it done on the outside

It worked like a charm. Barry of Handy Cycles was old school. I learned a lot from him.

Look further down the page at APE. They sell some bronze guides they label as "repair" guides that are .502". I presume you use a .500 reamer for those. Call APE and ask.

Yup, that's why I posted the link. It will have to be professionally done anyway.

Call them and ask. I wouldn't be comfortable doing that myself.
