So far they have been soking for 2 hrs an the gas is still in there no leaks as I can tell

The ring end gap was 25 thousands...the rings are junk

.025" ring gap is not junk. That's just a little wide and I promise not the problem.
You could have worn compression rings or glazed cylinders with leaking comp rings and have book perfect ring gap!

In my experience any ring gap past.017 is JUNK. That's when I noticed lots of blow bye out of the crank case, fuel in the crank case and started to use oil....this is my opinion

I used a a dial bore gage an it's right at 70mms which is the factory bore.....I think the rings is the problem which I'm amazed for only having 3300 miles on it....I think the cause was improper engine brakein from factory or the first owner
