too bad you are in florida,i have always liked those little bikes.i would like to put a 75 or 80 hp banshee engine in one and terrorize town on it.

thanks leon. cant wait to get some $ for my motor. i need my head done, and cylinder block with good sleeves. new cam chain and gaskets. that should get me rolling.

OK, so maybe you're not a knuckle dragger, but could you at least tell us your reading/obtaining the manual???

I mean... it tells you every tool your going to need for each job. + Its a motorbike, not a bicycle! Every bolt has a specific torque required, EVERY ONE. If your just loosening/tightening shit without the proper tools, well then your just plain dumb. Sorry, but for real, it weighs like 500 lbs, and it hurts like $%&# when it falls on you, trust me. :blush:

PS. Maybe you could stop selectively responding to posts too. Seems you ignore the resonable information given for the easiest, seemingly fastest route on everything. With motorbikes, that will get you hurt man, or worse - dead.

As always, I attempt to give information that will benefit the person(s) origionally asking the question in posts, but keep in mind - THIS IS A FORUM. Very few of us are actually mechanics... like the ones in the manual...

seems like a shame to part it out. and remember, a titled bike fetches more money.
i sold the turbo bike on ebay and made $700 profit.
the fees do suck. almost $150 in fees.

im having a spark problem. i think its the ignitor. im trying to just flip it without putting any $ into it. we shall see. going to look at a 81 1000 ltd that has a 1100 kit in it and has the head "milled". time will tell.

i sent stuff to some kid on his kz1000 'oldkaw4ever" or somthing like that...nice kid...but i threw the shipping in and hoped he could use the item he "asked" me for"z-1 rear fender" and he went and bought a gsxr and skipped out on the sight and gave up on the Z-1....oh well....i wait now to send stuff.....i mean i dig helping out and paying it forward and all... but a good deed and a stupid move share the same shadow some days.......
