Peter, it's doable. You can ride to Chicago and rest here and we can ride out the rest of the way. No problem. Then you can see the black beauty with your own eyes. The paint will be done by then.

Peter, I'm pretty sure there will be at least one stop along the way. Unless you are in to long distance riding to beat hell. We can do that too, if you like but the ride between here and there will be mostly boring as in Iowa (Idiots out wandering around) jk lol and Nebraska is kinda droll too. except for where goodfastncheap lives. lol
I'm pretty laid back. If there are any stops you wanna do or take pictures. Mainly, I get in to the ride and lost in the moment and wouldn't dream of telling anyone how to ride or worry about time. I will be completely laid back in fact as I have no job to worry about for two months or more. Just freedom. And that is a great feeling.

That sounds like a plan. I'm sure there will be a few guys here that will join us for the ride. Mad Duck, maybe Double Dub, maybe. The good thing is that my wife will be driving and trailering so that in case one of our bikes takes a dump we have transport.

You would be the long distance king for sure! Jeffasaki is somewhere in Ontario Canada. He may be interested. You could PM him.

Speaking of long distance riding, the ride to the rally might be an opportunity for a Iron Butt Ride. 1000 miles in 24 hours. The Saddle Sore 1K. Anyone up for the challenge? I might try it. Ride-alongs are welcome. I'll be leaving from Oshkosh, WI.

Larry Cavanaugh is the guy that SHOULD have built my engine for me. No, I felt the need to help out someone who I thought was a friend in need. Too blind to see the red flag that beat me over the head. He doesn't have any business it's because he has no business working on bikes in the first place. But yeah, Peter, give him the work. You won't regret it.
