Is this ride still happening?
I'm writing from Wisconsin..... would be a great thing to document, too -

I hope so! Maybe someone can post the latest map that shows which states are represented so far.
Cheers,
Ed

I actually think we could do the Eastern seaboard from Newfoundland down to Miami. There are a couple of stretches that are longer than others, but I think its' doable if riders can meet in the middle.
What we don't have is the relay object.

A very important piece of this - it could help bring a lot of attention to the ride.
A peace flag ? Something that really brings people together in a way.
Or something worth saving... what if everyone who joined the ride brought something with them.... a small object or something and added it to a what others had brought/donated/shared.....
I know that I sound like a super big hippie... I guess I am, sorta.... but I'm way more of a rock and roller.
Just throwing some ideas out there

I think the general consensus was to use a KZR flag with "NORTH AMERICAN RELAY RIDE 2012" sewn into it. I don’t think we found a volunteer yet to make the flag. Ed

I will ride where ever in the southwest you need to close the relay loop. Let's make this happen!

Actually ramtough_63 was looking into this. He knew a quilter or seamstress that he thought would do it. I haven't heard from him in a bit though.
I'm trying to coordinate an East Coast run, maybe as early as this Spring. If anyone else wants to step up and take over another leg. Please do. No seriously PLEASE do.
