I had a few questions....

this is Wendy.... writing from Madison, WI... with a KZ400.... Looking forward to riding a leg of the Wisco relay.

I'd like to start a Facebook page for this event, would that be okay? A landing place for lots of info about this cool ride.... also a great way to open the ride to a bunch of folks who aren't on the forum but want to connect. I do a fair amount of social media for my own projects, one of which is a documentary about girls that race motocross and dirt track, Angels Of DIRT.

Also wondering about a start date and route for this.....

Thanks everyone !!!!! Wendy

I'm not personally a fan of that circle thing because I would be left out, and I'd really like to do this.

I think the flag will be something that can be folded and carried as most of us have no safe way of securing it to a bike. Ed

If someone could add me to the map plez - Consider me Niagara Falls NY. I'm jsut 10 min away on the Canadian side - have my passport and all.

Also - I do know that whatever flag you do decide to go with - make sure its a constant high wind tollerant product/type flag, as most regular/cheap materials will dissintegrate within much less miles at highway speed that one would think.

PEACE.

Sounds awsome...

Got you on the map TeK9iNe, I guess you would be taking it over the boarder. Good time to hit the Duty Free. B)

This is totally a do what you can for the cause sort of thing. So by all means if you want to take on promoting the ride on Facebook then go for it. Sweet looking 400!

Who's outside Harrisburg, PA? Someone put a point on the map, but it doesn't appear to have KZrider ID with it.

It may be Househunter (Steve). He's in the Reading, PA area and said he would like to be part of the ride:

Ronnie, that's great we could use a little help in the New England area. Either add yourself to the map: g.co/maps/jw7te or let us know what city you are in and one of us will add you.

I think it's time to start planning the East Coast leg of this run in earnest.

Those of us on the East Coast are going to have a lot to talk about when trying to work out who's doing what/when and I don't want to clutter up an already long thread with all those logistical details.

So I've started a new thread for this purpose.

As we make decisions I'll be sure to update this thread so the whole group will stay informed.

I'm willing to coordinate this East Coast leg, but someone else is going need to pick it up after that. The flag is either going to end up in Newfoundland or Miami at the end of our leg. We haven't decided which yet. So another KZRider member will need to take it on after that.

I expect we'll cover the following states/provinces on our leg of the run.

Newfoundland
New Brunswick
Nova Scotia
Maine
New Hampshire
Vermont
Massachusetts
Connecticut
Rhode Island
New York
New Jersey
Delaware
Maryland
Virginia
West Virginia (?)
North Carolina
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida

West Virginia is iffy. It's not really East Coast, but we don't have any riders from there signed up yet. We could probably dip into WVA just to make sure it gets done, otherwise it'll fall to hypnohio or someone else in southern OH to do it.
