I'm in Redlands, CA. If you wait until next July, I'll carry the torch to Alaska and back.

If you're talking July 2012 my worry would be getting it to CA that early. We've still got a lot of empty states.

Well I'd be riding through CA, NV, AZ, UT, ID, MT (Alberta, BC, Yukon), AK, WA, OR back to CA. That's 9 states and 3 proviences you don't have to worry about
