This would not be a race, so there would be no time limit to accomplish it or any pressure to rush. The time schedule for each pass of the token would be coordinated between the riders involved with that “pass.” The token that gets passed from rider to rider could be anything, but it might be cool if it was some document that each rider could put his/her name, state, & date on.
I don’t know if anything like this has been done before, and it may be just a screwy idea that has no merit; it would not be the first of mine that fall into this category. But I thought I would put the idea out there to see if there is any interest. Ed

The Kansas or the Dakotas might be tough, though. It might be one guy doing all three of those states.

KZJOE900 wrote: Cool idea! Kind of like a KZ Olympics. Passing of the torch (or whatever). Were you envisioning it in the warm months, like spring or something? Do you suppose more than one rider an participate within a state? Like between Miami and Tampa and continuing to the border? Depends on how many partcipants within a state of course. Count me in. Yeah!
I figure the more the merrier (on Kaws), so several guys could split up a state or ride together as a group in a state. Regarding weather, if the thing started in a Northern state in the fall, by winter the token may have made its way down to a southern state where riding is still practical. I guess it's up to the individuals in each state to say what months they can ride. Ed
