Hi Rolf,

yes, to get older will bring some little things withit ...i`ll  know, ya can bet!...And i have a good understanding, that you have loved this fine Laverda 1000, it´s pretty racer, i had own a 1000 Jota 120°  from 2008- 2012.
But too complecated engine meshup: P.Ex. : To adjust the valvelash, you have to get out the cams, to get out the cams, you have to split the timing chain...and so on..2-piece cam-bearing-blocks...opposite this, is an Kawasaki engine very good and easy to service!!!

Yes i found out some of that about the laverda engine ,but on the later rgs1000 engine i think they installed exhaust valveseats and even valve seals !! =) and after read this   themotorcyclebroker.co.uk/beware-of-the-laverda-jota/ and asked the ovner if he could do a compression test and he denied i did not want to pay so much he wanted for it and he say he will not go down 1cent on the price i sat on the fence for a while.

Hi Rolf,

yes, i understand and do a full agree! Sometimes, it´s better to listen and follow inner feelings about a decision to buy, or let it...

I'm a fan also. I installed one on the 82' Honda CB 900F even though my buddy doesn't like fairings. I told him to ride it home for a while, it's 40 miles with a bunch of freeway. He rode it back a couple weeks later and said it was good especially on the freeway. I have mounted a few of them and always make braces that use the mirror mounts and the rear windscreen screws. There's no movement or buffeting and the air comes off the fairing very smooth. I usually cut off the extensions from the lower corners off the fairing just for looks.

Do you have any pictures of how you have them mounted? I am looking at different mount options, but I am not going to buy a universal mount kit.

I'll try to remember to get some pictures of the brackets I made. We're going to sell the 900F and Paul wanted to sell it without the fairing so I have already removed it.

I'm sorry but with the new format it says image to large and after reducing the size it says upload failed. I've tried several times but I'm no computer whiz.
