The master cylinder is huge and brand new so it should not be the issue. If I take the master off the push rod it will extend but only a 1/4" at a time. Not sure where to start other than to buy a new one or just pay for the conversion sold on Z1
So of course the bike is still not streetable. I am switching back to the cable drive for now.

No idea, at this point I don't know how much money I am willing to sink into it. I used a Slave Cylinder off of a Suzuki 1000 because it was 2 bolts. Not sure if it is the Master Cylinder or the slave. M.C. is brand new and certainly big enough. For now it is going back to cable operation so I can get some ride time in. Although, we are getting a crap ton of rain this winter in Arizona. Better than snow I guess.
I was hoping you had yours done.

Anyway,if it works in the same way as a hydraulic brake, then the master and slave need to match.Mine should be ok as theyre both from the same ZXR but you have different parts . Maybe the master is too big, giving less pressure? (or is it the other way around??) Could you find/borrow one from a Suzuki 1000 Just to try It,see what happens?

Cold and windy here. Supposed to be back in the 80's in a couple days. Crazy desert weather. :S
