Before Trimming
Took the advice to run it closer to the frame
Still needs trimmed a bit and upholstering it will be soon
Also decided to make some side covers since I already had the clay and fiberglass out. They will be wraped in burlap, Epoxied and then epoxied a second time, wet sanded, buffed and have a shine finish, I am also debating on doing the seat with the burlap but haven't quite figured out how I would stretch it. Thats the plan anyway.

Wow looking good. You plan on displacing the battery so that the area between the engine and rear tire is open? If so, I'd be interested in what kind of battery you'd use and how you'd customize a battery box to hold all the battery/electrical components.

I'll post in good detail what I do with the wiring and post good pictures when I get it all figured out. Main idea is going battery-less but need to figure out how exactly. I am looking at ideas right now as well.

Props on the custom fiberglass. I have madd respect for that work because of how annoying it all is.
The burlap is a unique idea for sure. I will need to see it done to see how well it's pulled off. Obviously burlap is cheaper and more unique than carbon fiber but the effort is the same why not go CF? Shit even kevlar has a burlap look to it which would up the cool factor.

I have made some burlap parts in the past but like you said its hard to make it work. Really would be for the look and nothing else so I'm passing by the carbon or kevlar because I'm still learning how the process works so I don't want to waste good materials. I'll post a picture of what the burlap can look like. I did not make this

Judging from what you have done already I don't think you would have problems. Kevlar would look bad ass compared to burlap yet its a fairly similar look. Just get your fiber glass smooth before the kevlar. Your time is worth money too...

I will give an honest look into it. I had to chuck the side covers, molding with clay only works with large parts I come to realize. I really want to vacuum form some parts which is what got me into fiberglass in the first place but haven't had a successful run at it. Mostly because of second rate materials. I need a doner original side cover to make a mold if I do decide on it.
If anyone has a set of side cover I can borrow to make molds that would be awesome, no damage would come to them but older crappier is better just incase I have to pay for themn haha

Got my first wave of parts in. I accidently ordered three dual banjo bolts, no wonder that second order was so expensive haha
Dyno Jet with needles and, ordered seperately, I got pilot jets.
Brake lines, I also meant to order 45 degree banjo fittings but I will see what it looks like and if it sucks than they will go back
Valve train stuff
Pod filters from Z1, are they good? Has anyone used them before? Can I put K&N oil on them? I have some spare treatment from the Stang so it would be nice to use it since she is no longer with us...

Those are EMGO FILTERS AND THEY ARE CRAP i THINK. i JUST PUT SOME ON MY BUILD BECAUSE i CANTAFFORD THE k & n'S RIGHT NOW. Sorry for caps. It is not Z1 Enterprises fault as they sell the good stuff too. I don't know how well they work yet but seem chinzy.

Looks like a good spread there! Ya with the K&N's you gotta pay to play for the security of a quality filter. But on the other hand people run open venturi so even with the emgo's your getting some protection, but oiling them.. I wouldn't.

Yeah, I suppose I should get some good ones. I figured if Z1 had them than maybe they work well with the KZ's. Haha I should have consulted you guys before I got them.
I do have a small update, I reassembled the carbs with 140 mains and 20 pilots 1.5mm (2nd of five notches)with the dynojet needles. Will that be good with a open exhaust and pods? I am going to make a enclosure for the pods in an attempt at controlling the air a little bit so I dont get wonky impulsive tunes from mother nature and being in seattle it rains...not lately but it does haha
New Fuel Tee's!
Got the Carbs back together!
Shiny new needles
Here you can kind of see the luster given by the beautiful jets
Again, I have no idea if this setup will work perfectly, from online navigation I have found a lot of people run this setup and I am at sea level. As in the Puget Sound is across the road. If anyone has some experiance with the pod open exhaust with VM26 carbs than chime in. I have also another set of smaller mains and larger pilots in case these don't work well. Let me know what you think

I got some more parts, and my brake rotors are at the machine shop to see if they can be resurfaced, I am crossing my fingers that they can be done up nice. 200 some odd dollars a piece for new rotors would slaughter my budget or lack there of haha.
Here are the parts
The cylinders have been bored and on their way back thanks to Pit Stop Performance.
