Well, I can't answer that. I don't know how hot it gets and I don't know the melting point of ABS so I'll have to find out more about each

The bike runs, I haven't kept up on posting the steps on the forum as well as I wanted to but the electrical threw me for a loop and I'm trying to slap her together, I haven't adjusted the carbs at all yet so she is running rich, so I think I raised the needles a clip too high. Also the valve need adjusted for I have no clearance with a few of them. But having it run was the kick I needed to push on,
This is the farthest I have ever gone on an engine so the feeling of accomplishment has me on cloud 9.

it sounds good just needs some tuning but what wouldnt after a big rebuild great work. i know the feeling of the push i just got my bike running after a year and a 1/2 working on her. she so close but all the little things keeping her from being my dd.

Yeah there is a lot that needs done on the carbs, I was surprised it was running rich with the pods and open exhaust. So hopefully I can adjust the carbs with the current jets. Tomorrow I am to adjust the carbs and put my vacuum guages to work.
