Also, when looking for a after market master cylinder, what size am I looking for.
Perhaps this --

5/8" bore master cylinder.
Good Fortune!

Nice, are you modifying one of the duck tails or building one from scratch? I'd be interested to see how it turns out. I have seen sweet mods like running the exhaust from under the duck tails as well.

Hell yeah man, The mono shock KZ's are the way to go cause they look so angry, like dirtbikes...big mean dirtbikes. I had to abandon any monoshock plans for my bike because of the lack of resources...a welder haha, the most important piece to that puzzle ha.

I like both personally. They both have cool looks to to them. I like the clean look of the monoshock but I also like the dated look of the 2 rears, it reminds me of what these bikes are.
Have a look at the new commando;

That Norton is awesome, I hopefully can get a set of good shocks for the KZ so it updates the handling a little bit, my shocks are spent and ugly since the springs started to rust.
But, I made some progress today. I went through and took my time measuring the dimensions on the frame so I could get as close to a snug fit as I could. Here is my process in picture form.
The seat looks short and wide but since I trimmed the frame a bit It looks a bit fat. I am hoping it turns out in the looks department. I tried my hardest at emulating the KZ tail look.
Materials for template
Block of clay
Overall shape
first layer of fiberglass and epoxy resin
