When I took my pump apart in 13, the flat plate had shallow grooves in it. The clearance between the gears were in spec but I took the best parts from two others I had to make one. The plate I sanded with #600 paper on a sheet of glass. Now I have plenty of pressure, maybe too much.No problems for three years. B)

Not original color. It is a color I have wanted to do something in for a long time. It is 2003 Jaguar Racing Green Pearl.

Wow, great color. Is that the same green that the body is going to be?

It is a Powdercoat color that I found that matches the paint color I have chosen. I still have to clear coat it and also built a holder for the carb bodies to do a better coating job as well.

Well good new and bad news. Good news is that I am picking up my frame from the Powdercoater finally after they have redone it like 3 times due to issues. Bad news is they sent me this picture.

Now I don't doubt I have a pin hole in the joint since I had to stitch weld the additional frame reinforcements and probable screwed this up just a bit, but they are claiming the PC defect is due to this. Not sure how it could be, but oh well. Going to grind down the PC and mask off the area and use a Rustoleum Texture Black spray paint to feather and blend it in. It will be under the tail section rubber mount anyway, so it will hardly ever be seen.

I post my wins and failures......this case a little bit of both.

And with the rolling stock......

Need to do some "cleaning up" of the powdercoat before the shocks can go on, etc....
