Thanks so much for the kind words. I want to get a picture in sunlight this weekend. Really brings the color out. Do you mean the cost out the door on the shocks? I think it was $634 shipped.

Hi Cory, beautiful looking work! I do my own powdercoating and for some reason have a hard time shooting wrinkles... in my case I seem to shoot it too thin or too thick but never had any clumping issues. Are you certain you have no moisture in your tank and your filter is dry? I also use a bright LED flashlight and go over the whole substrate before it goes in the oven, this has saved my butt several times. I also have an air pressure gauge right at the input of my gun.

Cheers,

Doug

Hi Doug,

Well I have both an SMC Dryer/Regulator prior to the hose and inline disposable filter at the gun itself. As far as my own parts that I did in wrinkle, my guess was the pressure wasn't quite right as I have upped the input pre gun pressure to 30 psi and fine tune plume pattern with the regulator valve on the gun. I did not notice anything amiss until it came out of the oven, though it was a heavy coat. According to the professional shop, it can clump if you get an uneven coating or build up in a spot. I may sand down the surfaces that have clumped and see if I can blend in some more. Note I have not hade any other PC issues other than a couple of pieces using Eastwood Wrinkle coat, FWIW.
