i think it depends on your personal taste. like the kerker vs yosh look. i like a pipe that turns up at the back, but some like the yosh style straight back look.
if it were mine, and since u have a modern tail pipe. i would go longer and more upswept. this is most often done with a double bend.
let me see if i can find some pics to get my thoughts across.

I agree with everything that's been said and will push it up and back some. I love the pics that Mark posted, but don't think I can go that far back because the muffler is too short (12") and looks odd like a lollipop with it out on the end of the pipe. Will add some additional bend and tuck it right behind the peg, then transition into the cone. Will work on it next weekend. Thanks guys!

maybee u can make the mid pipe longer or add a second mid pipe with a second bend?? thats what they did with mine. it simplified things. just 1 bend per pipe, then they flared the ends so they slipped together.

Good luck with it.

Mark,

I bought "J" bend mandrel bends from Summit Racing and will weld them together, and take the weld down until it will disappear under ceramic coat. I am also going to make the header and mid pipe as one.

Cory, what happens when you turn that mid pipe around? From he side view, it looks like the bend needs to start right past the collector to get the up sweep you're looking for and to fill in that gap between the frame and mid pipe.
I like the looks of the pipe on the Suzuki Mark posted.

Great looking build Cory.

I really love the short stubby look!! B)

That said, my new pipe is the longer up swept design. :P

Well, after this weekend, I have my game plan together and figured out how to do the pipe right, but deerhunt stands got I the way! Spent all weekend building bigger stands with my family on our hunt property instead of getting to cut and weld....

Sorry no update this time....
