Its been a while since I fiddled with the jetting of carbs, but I seem to recall that it wasn't to do with the size of the overbore, but the flow of air and exhaust gas. The jet kits come with stage 1 and stage 3. 1 is for adding an exhaust and 3 is for both pods and an exhaust. Get the main right and then adjust your needles with some washers. The jet kit needles weren't always great for the mid range cruising from what I recall also. They had a weird on/off kind of taper.

I have the 117.5 jets in right now, but haven't been able to see how they perform. Battery unfortunately decided to stop working altogether. With that said though, the bike is pretty much done for this season. I have a few little odds and ends to work out still, but I'll be riding it once the weather permits.
Next winter she will be torn apart again to get powdered and painted... and some go fast

Also regarding your jetting, remember that Dynojet jet sizes and Mikuni factory jets sizes are not the same measurement. Meaning they use different numbers for different hole sizes. If you use the Mikuni juets and just buy them they are not terribly expensive. I think the rule was up three sizes for pods and three sizes for 4-1 exhaust. The mikuni jets go in 2.5 increments and that would put you at 127.5 with a factory jet to get your mixture right.
