I using large grain soda media. I used to use glass, but having to get all of it out of the oil galleys sucks. Soda will just dissolve in the oil if it's left somewhere. Before hand I just soak with simple green for 10-15 minutes and hose it all down.

Seems I should revive this from the dead, no it's not abandoned :P Been having a lot of problems getting the motor back together. Between not getting parts, and my own ignorance I've decided to find a complete motor so I can ride this thing this year. Les Holt came through (didn't know he was so close) and I'm picking up a complete motor tomorrow evening! Should have this ol' girl on the road in a couple weeks!

Short lived, had some rust in a couple cylinders, but Les is a genuine dude. We found a KZ1000 I might be picking up if it runs, and the 650 will move to an 810 turbo bike :evil:

Holy cow... it has an engine in it! Just needs some little stuff; sprocket cover, carb boots, and exhaust holders & collars. Hope to hear it run within a week or so!

The bike looks mean as hell by the way and I usually don't like the short brat style
