i know the feeling,i own branches of several banks myself! :woohoo:Got the steering stem nut made and put on, now I can safely roll it around. Didn't get as much turning radius as I had hoped but I't will work. Started mocking up the faring and gauges and to my delight it's not going to be that big of deal. The forks are wider and bigger so I'll have to make new holders over the forks and with the billet tree I'm making it should be fine. Gotta order some more material. Oh well, I'm going to nickname this thing a bank, I've put more money in it than I have the bank.
Still recovering, some days are better than others.

i would be interested in how you solve the fairing mounting issue.i am working on a frontend conversion for my 1980 z1r and will have to build custom bracketry for my fairing.
here is a picture of some nice ones from japan.
i have a buddy that can laser cut all the pieces out of alu sheet and then just screw it all together it looks like.ther would be some machine work but it looks like it could all be cut out and drilled and tapped.

As for building you a set Leon, I don't have a problem with that at all. Kind of the reason with this build is to advertise the shop. Let me get this set debugged and see what you think.
I also found a powder coater local that can do the frame. That just makes life a little easier.

So I just go out to the garage and am looking at the gauge cluster on the Z1-R to see exactly what you were up against.
First thing I notice is the little mounting block on the lower right that holds the fairing, trim strip and plexi in place is long gone.
Keerraapp.
BTW, gorgeous build, looks to be a very fine ride.
