Aint no stick welding on this thing, although the plasma did get used this morning.

Yes, it was done on a jig just to make sure it was right. That frame was actually 1 of the straighter frames I've worked on.

that was before seeing your other pictures,looks nice! 
i normally cut the top tube right behind the steering head and grind the welds loose on the downtubes on highest part of next and pull neck back and reweld before gusseting.
ive seen it done the way yours is done before,i must say yours is one of the nicer ones ive seen done like that!
