Stu

The ice is thin, walk lightly my friend. I hope you always give more to the fourm, then you take.

I wish that I could say, I have never messed up here, but it would be a lie. With that said, I wish you the best on your build.

PS- When asking for help or advice, always show respect. We give from the heart, and we give freely. We still believe in respect, for age and wisdom here............

Joe,

Plum and OMR are both good guys if you get to know them. Really...the're good people.

Some advice on the build:

Slow down a little. I realize that you're wanting this done fast. Who can blame you... But there's really a progressive order to follow with the chassis so it all comes out correctly.

Most of us old guys are cranky, opinionated & don't like it when our great advice isn't immediately taken as gospel :cheer:

I don't know what went down yesterday that caused all the problems but it's all fixable and forgivable....

i come here for kz's.
i come here to escape the drama in my life.
sometimes i get to help some cool like minded folks on some of there kickass builds.
i am a gear head that loves all things kawasaki, thats what brought me here and why i stay.

i have done a steering stem swap for joe.
i am also building him some bar clamps, which with my worn old mill sometimes can be time consuming and challenging.
i was not satisfied with the first attemp.
although they would have worked.i have decided to make new upper clamps.

here is the first attempt.

the chunks next to it are the leg clamp blanks of the height adjustable upper triple that i am building for my z1r.

leon
skiatook,oklahoma 1980 z1r,1978 kz 1000 z1r x 3,
1976 kz 900 x 3
i make what i can,and save the rest!
