later i'll post a pic of someone welding their own risers on...not as clean as larry's but all aluminum and nice finished example...sit up and beg bars

DutchZ's thread is a good one, he built a killer mean, old school lookin Kz. It's worth it to read his thread. I believe you have already read my project and swingarm threads Joe, but a friendly bump from Craig doesn't hurt.

He makes a good point though - you should always have a good reason for the mod you're doing. Nothing says amature hack faster than changing something that doesn't need to be changed, for no other reason than to change it.......But that doesn't apply to me or my carbon fiber parts. Do as I say, not as I do......

just a quick nose, noticed ppl talk about painting teh frame, a etch primer is fine after you sand the frame etc. evevn hammerit NO.1 rust killer and primer in one. ment toi be good stuff and if ok on bare metal. comes up smooths im told. painted or sprayed.

its $15 bucks for a 6061 T6 1" OD .0624 ID tubing at 12" plus whatever loctite costs.......not too bad for my swingarm mod cost on a sleeve.

its about time people got back on the site!!!!:laugh:
