The paint looks great, and you're old emblems look to be in good shape too. I looked into the cooler thing a little deeper, and found a much better price on the Earls cooler in the US.
www.race-mart.com/Earls_Plumbing-EAR-71006ERL.html
I'm not sure if this particular model is the right one, as there is a "wide" version, as well as 6AN and 8AN inlet versions. Once you figure it out, it's $100 for the cooler, and I bet you could get the other parts together for another $150 or so B)

yes that is the route to go...for now i am gonna skip doing the cooler and shop for the fittings and lines...then run the lockhart and temp shut off /thermo...i can always buy a Earls once it is plumbed in and working with the lockhart...

trick will be finding the fittings and someone that has the lines too so it all works together...

the lockhart will be enough for the bike and maybe too much for running by the cool sea breezes...but the Earls and fittings looked cool....8-900 for the asian kit...wow

Your bike is really looking good. the paint work definitely looks show quality.I think i remember you were going to ceramic coat header? I ended up having to take mine back after running it a while. looked like the coating was just wearing off.im pretty happy now with the second time around results.just a pain to remove and wait for them to come back.hopefully your man gets it right.cant wait to see the whole bike together.

Absolutely beautiful, the blue was always my favourite of the two colour choices. Did you use Reproduction Decals for the stripes & what if any comments did you get from your painter ? ( & excuse me if that's listed further back in your thread) Andre's shop is right around the corner from my office and the paint on my red MKll is due for a respray...

yes they are from reproduction decals and yes they look awesome...they were great to deal with and the gal on the phone knew her stuff...perfect transaction...

the painter is as good as they get,any ,anywhere, and even he said that he has to work to get the decals right and has had to "fix" stuff if they do not go on right ,even him, i was like ,wow,no thank you

I dont know a lot but i believe they are "floated on" wet...and they are not cheap imo...i am glad i did not try and do it...i bet after about 300-500 bucks worth of screwing up nice decal sets i could get a set on there close i bet....maybe

the body set is put away in triple flannel wrapping...the emblems were a easy return to our favorite seller.....the gardens were knee deep in weeds and overgrown winter stuff...

I did not want the bike project to be sharing duty with my garden punch list and have been doing the outside areas a bunch..i think i am at a point where it is just water and wait for the next seedling packs to be ready...an

Today was the first time i pulled the cover of the bench since doing the rear tire....

been going full bore on days off putting in plants

heirloom tomatoes and spices are rolling good...planted a bunch of ..squash,watermelon,pumpkin,corn,and herbs ....waiting on those so bike time for a few weeks...

the ride /show tickets are here....and yes it is soon...may 13 ride ...show the 14th

www.quaillodgeevents.com/pages/home.cgi?srvid=15

i am not opening any more cans of worms and am gonna ride it just the way it is with new front tire, pads, oils and springs,

my carb sync stuff is here as well as a dyna S (dyna III on there now) and i am concerned that if i mess with that stuff it may catch a snag and i have paid for the ride and show already...the bike rode great before i tore it down and by this afternoon i may be close to doing only the body and seat....

i could do the carbs, ignition ,steeering bearings, oil cooler, brake lines, after the show and have them ready for the GP....
also this will be the first yr i will have 2 KZ's for the gp bike nights...any takers??? :)

if you mean the seed packs ready to plant slowing me down ...i can do few here and there after work...as i get off work by 230 nowadays.....

if i break anything now or screw anything up i will be riding the bike very late for shaking out wobbles before the show....only the front end i keep saying...then i see my new ignition or sync stuff...heheheehe

poppy trail leading out to the main road...should be knee high and on fire with California poppies soon
