i hope the painter is able to part with a set of business cards...i have a feeling when that bike gets parked out on the polo field at the cycle show....the cards may go fast...the rest of the bike is gonna look pretty dull next to this body set...time to raise the bar....

man it must be something to have skills like that...i remember when building decks or steps and yard structures for folks i would be able to do some outside the box design stuff just to put that personal touch and to work with the shapes already around what i was building, the owners would say stuff about how neat it must be to be able to build things, they would be calling the neighbors over and asking me all kinds of questions about how i learned to build,i would just shrug it off and say thanks......this is how this paint job makes me feel...i would love to learn to paint......but it would be like me leaving my tools at a customers house and letting them build the next deck.....they would do fine i'm sure...but it would be a first effort and would have flaws and corrections that needed fixing.....

I will still attempt a black A-4 with painted /layered stripes this summer and make a booth that can be broke down....but i may not try and paint the green 900 ...time to start saving money to have that one done...can only imagine how it would come out....

Wow......i am jazzed....gonna need to powder coat some items and redo the bolts now....

Painting is definately an artistic skill. But it is not beyond anyone's ability to learn. Sure, you aren't gonna turn out a paint job like your MK2 your 1st/2nd/3rd...ect time, but as you know, there is a satisfaction in doing something on your own and learning a new skill....even if it doesn't turn out as perfect as a pro job. If you want to learn, go for it!

the most popular cooler is likely an Earls.

i know i can make or learn to make many of the items...or learn to paint at some level of passable...but i always float back to my reasoning of, why?...some folks here have natural and learned skills to do these builds..or some enjoy the tasks simply for the sake of working on em

...i not so much...i enjoy my laptop or say my camera...i have 0% desire to build either....lol

Good on you. Some of us are just curious and love to learn, but it's others who would rather just have it done right the first time that keep painters, welders, platers, service shops, etc in business. It takes all kinds. :)

And beautiful paint, btw.

Klasmo is closed...went out of business a while ago. :(

Try PMC Japan for the oil cooler set up...they have similar stuff if not the exact item. They can be ordered through Z1E.
