I talked to that guy last week, I even got directions to his place....then I talked to the queen who immediately questioned my sanity....and our bank account. I told her I was just going to put it together and ride it. She said "yeah right, I know you, and you can't leave anything alone" I promise baby, it's a hell of a deal :(

This reminds me of a question I asked here somewhere before and never did get an answer...What is the difference between the rear rotors on the A models and LTD models for 79 and 80? They sure look the same to me?? I would have guessed that all 3 discs were the same for the 79 and 80 models, A and B.

That's what I was thinking...offset must be different. One of these days I"ll have one of each to compare. My friend was interested in my old rotors for his LTD and I told him that the part numbers didn't match for the rear rotor....just not sure why.

It could simply be rotor thickness.
Not that this may relate to the liter bikes. I have a front rotor on the rear of the 750r1. It works fine since it's only 4mm thinner than the stock. Stock rear rotor is 10mm. Reasoning to have the thinner was less rotating mass, but thats a stretch. Next round I will be placing the spec rotor on the rear.

Interesting that the KZ1000P front calipers had been the only option for new that matched the 750r1. Only difference is mat wrinkle finish as opposed to gloss black. To me, no matter.
KZ750R1 + 1991 ZR750 = KZR750R1
