have to file and install this petcock adpt plate and spin on petcock this morning so as to not have to handle the tank too much when it is all new looking...then off to the post office...little chilly here still...come on sun

the other parts will work for now but do not seem to be very close reproductions...they will go on my next MKII roadracer proj...and in time i will find the real ones...some stuff was cracked or broke and i need a fix now so this stuff will do..

however the tank and side cover emblems are way cool and the colors are popping in the package..stocked on those and a great Z-1 ent. price too

i am going to do a product review in another thread on the MKII seat covers as the one i bought is not even close and another maker claims an exact match with welded hearing bone pattern seams and exact copy...

the saddleman was not even close...maybe for someone just looking to savee 15 bucks..54$ vs 70+10 shipping for the one in the mail now...

Z1 did say no prob...no likey no keepy....

but not even close on the phone would have stopped me having to ship at my expense an inferior product back across the usa...oh well...now i know....

as you can see the detail is soo shitty and cheap on the saddleman....and the stuff it leaves out is the nice touches that really make the MKII seat special imo...

real bummer...

the more i look at the seat the more i wonder why saddlemen does not take the time to show the items you are spending your money on.....

i could not just show someone a picture of a deck ,and then sell em on it ,and then go and build whatever i want later that would be deceptive and bad business and a sure way to lose a customer...i am now gonna have to go and look into another dealer , not what i want after spending money in one place for 4 yrs to have to go shopping the market......oh and that dealer also sells all kawi stuff...so there...piss me off and now i gotta go mail shit back.,......i know i asked if this seat cover was any good...and was told they are nice...

they are not nice...they are shit....

no more vacuum petcock...there goes a pound...:laugh:

cheap swap out ..easy....done.... and seems to work fine...this same type cheapo petcock flows fine for my KZ900 solved the stock probs and is holding up great 3 yrs ..no drips..

i did not have time to re-mount the j-boots and 33' smoothies and box stuff and get off to work...i will use another tank to check the big carbs
