u mill the face that the sprocket bolts to.B)

I have fantastic news!! :laugh: This things pulls hard and runs pretty strong..... for a three cylinder.:silly:
#1 is cold.
I can hold the pipe with my hand.
I have spark.
Never smoked, It is not "blowed up".
Is the slide supposed to jump up and down quickly when I open the throttle? (cv)
I can turn the mixture screw in and out with no effect.
These are stock KZ1100 cv carbs.

I rode it about 15 miles and sync'ed the speedo.
I think it has been this way for a while and I just got used to it. I guess it degressed slowly, I cleaned them.
I wonder if my slide diaphram is torn.

I have a question for you guys............................

So I finally found my compression gage,Charged up battery and put a little oil in the cylinders.

I saw 90 psi at #1 and #2. I put the gage back in the tool box and went inside with m tail tucked.:(

Then I relized, This is an excellent time for a 1075cc kit!:laugh:

What compression ratios are you guys running? (Any C.C.)

Anything higher than 10.5:1 and u cant run pump gas. 10.25 can ping a bit with stock ignition system.

Deside who is going to do your boring and see if u can get a better price through them than separately. Z1E can suply the pistons at a good price.
I just got J&E's through Gast in NY.
J&E prices were reduced to reduce stock.they are not making them for kz's , anymore.
I dont think the brand makes any dif. Wiesco is the most popular.

I found a set of M.T.C.s with upper and lower gaskets for $425. They also offer boring for $120. It's a 1075cc, 10.25:1 kit. not bad. cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...X:IT&item=4635778076

calhoun,the link you provided is for 1045 wiseco's.
nothing wrong with 1045,tuned right it can be a handfull.just didn't want you thinkin you was getting something you weren't.it does not look like a bad deal tho,as long as you are getting quality machine work done.
i don't know if they we're both tuned the same if you could feel the difference between a 1045 and a 1075.with 1045 tho you can go to 1075 next time,instead of going 1075 this time and hunting cylinders or sleeves next time.my .02
