Hey Mark, Hope you are well. I am running the zrx1100 rear wheel and it is narrower than the 1200s. I also have a washer behind it.

[img] i am at it again, trying to get my gearing right. I still doe not have enough speed. I have found that the cush drive on the 16 inch kz wheel is very similar to zrx1100 cush drive. i plan to use the kz drive on the zrx wheel. Then i can get my r.p.m.s down in time for riding season .

i moved my rear uper shock mounts forward, and the bike feels way better now. i just copied the zrx geometry. this alows the shock to compress at the proper rate. Its a lot softer now.B)

I had the same problem with the rear sprocket. The ZX hub is the only one that I have found that will go below 36t. You will have to get one made though. I ordered my 34t from www.5thgearsprockets.com/ they did a great job and it was like $55 or $60 I run a 530 18tf/34tr with a zx7r rear tire and wheel. At first it seemed dificult to find sprockets but its almost the same price to get the sizes you want made as it is to just buy whats out there... imo
good luck. your project is awsome by the way we'll have to ride together some time I just moved back to ft. myers

What are your thoughts on the build ?
Any thing you would do diffrent ??
parts list?

I am interested in building my 84 kz 700, thinkin a 6 speed and atleast a 750 piston kit, mabie a set of rs 34s
and a fairing of some sort. I like the retro fender and will try to copie. If you dont mind !
I have looked at the gsxr parts and not liking the idea of suki parts on my prize kaw! This is the alternitive I have limited funds but resources and family with machine expirence.
I will source parts for a cuple summers wile I clean up the wiring and do the motor. Then when the motor is finished to the suspension or am I backwards?? this is what I am working with

I will take all the advice I can get and would like to say thanks in advance.

pm me the parts list as not to thro out how much you have tied up thanks
