nice pictures...i got that things brother sitting in about the same condition on my bench(11/1973/z-1) and am messing around with getting the rings to go in the jugs......i'm gonna engine black some of the cases this time cuase the fire it went through left em gunky,and it is just a back up motor this time ...next time i pull it i'm gonna blast all the pieces...keep up the good work....i should get to the mail this weekend...craig

Thank's guy's. The top tripple tree clamp is painted with rustoleum chrome rattle can paint, it came out better than i though. Your right OMR the paint like that usually come out lookin like poo poo......lol I settled on an aluminum color for the frame and swing-arm, and gloss black body work. The motor was a pain in the a** to clean but well worh it in the end. Right now me and my buddy are in the process of getting the frame stripped down, and im going to put it in primer tommorow hopefully.

i thought the pictures were upside down till i noticed the directional arrow pointer ....then it makes sense now.....by the way ....same to ya.....i'm gonna have some questions if i ever get the kz-900-z-1 swap done then the kz will be on deck to recieve the love...i fear that it will follow suit and end being atotal re-do...i so much love the old ratty looking z's...but omrs is way cool and i must copy some stuff.....Old Man Rock wrote:

It is fust surface rust it al came off when i blasted it , and the welds were good also.
