Kawiconvert... Powder coating for $60-$80!!! Not in Phoenix.... Then again you're most probably speaking of just the swing arm...
OldKaw... Love the swingarm... Duplicolor Wheel paint?
Which clear coat did you end up with, 2 part or the Duplicolor wheel coat clear?
I have been very happy with the non chipping on my frame with that paint... Actually surprised how durable it is... I didn't use a clear, wanted the dull shine for the frame so interested to see how that clear holds up...
Please keep us posted on that clear holding up....
It makes me laugh where we won't let the dogs on the furniture but in all the postings I find here, we put our pipes, motors, parts, you name it on a leather couch mind you for our prized possessions.... Hell, we even have little blankets for these parts...
If our wives/girl friends only knew....
More pictures damn it, I need my daily whoring...

Yup duplicolor wheel paint and clear, i have to touch up a few spots because i got a little go happy and picked it up when it was still wet.........but it looks like it will hold up very well, i guess i will find out when i actually start riding it in the spring, but i will keep you updated on it. I have the head off the motor, just waiting on the gasket set to get here......fun fun..lol. I decided i dont need rings because the compression was 112psi all across the board on all 4 cylinders, and acording to ma kawi's manual it was 121psi from the factory,. I was really supprised especialy since the old girl had about 38,000 miles on her, but then again i change the oil every 1000 miles give or take a few, and do regular routine maitnence.
