Well, i gues i should update this a bit, i thought my engine was locked up.......but it turned out the cam chain was bound up on the bottom end     . Got that all taken care of. So as of now the motor is 100% together and it run's great. I spent today getting the lower bearing in the tripple trees seated properly so the front end is complete and ready to go. I got to looking at the kz 650 fender i had mounted and it just wasnt doing it for me. So i took out some painters tape and masked out a shape i was happy with, and went to work with my trusty dremel. I ended up cutting the fender down considerably and the ends are pointed now. It will be ok seeing since this bike wont be ridden in the rain anyways. I cut the fender down because i have been thinking about dropping the front end some, so this way i wont risk the chance of getting the fender caught in the sidewinder. I know what i said probally didnt make scence so i will post some pics of it tommorow.

Ya its coming together bit by bit. Im curently doing the bodywork on the tank........me and a can of bondo have became really good friends the past few days. I need to make the tank 100% smooth and dent free because im going to paint it satin glossy black with the monter energy drink logo on it and the side covers. Im still waiting on my allen bolts i ordered for the engine covers off ebay.....i knew i should have bought them from Z1    . Im also having my friend install the Dulop Gt501's i bought awhile ago, because he just got a new tire changing machine he is charging me 10 dollars a wheel. The rear tire that was on there was a pain to get off we had to use a hacksaw and a dremmel tool to get it off. I cleaned up the rims all nice and purdy.

What did you do to that poor defenseless fender????? I am going to have to report you to the authorities. Just remember what job those fenders serve and when riding in the rain or just getting caught in the rain won't be functional at all. I am still waiting on getting my bike back together. If it doesn't happen in a couple of weeks I am going back to plan B ... ZX14. I have to have a bike for the Memorial Day Weekend Ride around the lake. Are you game for that or what?
