I painted the body work for it, so here are a few shots of it on the bike. The color is metallic graphite, looks awsome on there.

Fenders are highly over rated anyhow, just like seat cushions and rear suspensions. ;)

Hey, if the kid wants to cut his fender up, what's the big deal? he's got more anyways. LOL The main thing it does is support the fork legs, and keep the rain off ya. I read somewhere, a guy got a bobber with no fender and got caught in the rain, he tied a shoe lace across the forks to keep the rain off him. He says it worked, good fer him.
Anyways, live and learn. What the heck He's a kid!LOL

I just have some final tweeking to do, and this rocket will be done. I still have to track down a rear brake pedal to clear the sidewinder exhaust and i need to get pads for the rear calliper. Those drag bars are comming off also in favor of some super bike bars. I also have to replace that funky terminal that comes on the rectifier/regulator combo from jeff at z1, it is one of those terninals that is held by the negitive battery post, im goint to replace it with a full rig terminal, so it dosent work it's way loose like it did a few times last year.

Well im going to drop my brake pedal off at the post office tommorow, and hopefully jordan will have it before long. I went out today to play with the bike for a while and i noticed a spot of oil maby the size of a silver dollar underneath the bike. The best i could see it was leaking from the pan gasket. I don't know if the bolts came a bit loose after the initial 2 runs? The bike has sat for about a week, so it isnt that big of a leak, but it is still leaking none the less. Any ideas what is causing it? The drain plug and the oild filter bolt are both snug. Should i have put loctite on the oil pan bolts when i put the pan back on?

Got the rear tire back from my buddy after he replaced the tube because he pinched it the 1st go around. Hopefully i will get some pics and a movie of it running tommorow. I think my battery is starting to say it's goodbye's, i need to put it on the battery tender to keep a good charge on it. I have been looking at the AGM maintnence free gel sealed battery's. I think i found a pretty good deal here, www.bikebatts.com/product_info.php?cPath...b8431a6e05266275710a . Hell there is even free shipping.

69 Huh? Sounds like someone will get screwed later. I bought something like that. Not bad but not a great deal either. I paid 115 or something like that for mine and it lasted for 5-6 years whereas each and every summer with the acid filled batteries they would go dead or near death.
You are going to get what you pay for and in the case of the expensive batteries they do last and last and last amazingly. I bought a sealed battery like the one you want for around that price and it lasted 2 years and the other well I am still using it but... I think it safe to say that for the price you could go either way on that. Still not bad but the pricey ones last much longer and in the long run cost less. STILL MUNDO MUCH better than the acid filled batteries that leak and piss on the swingarm and remove the paint and white powdery stuff to clean in the battery box area. You are smart to get a gel cell.
