Here is the rear caliper donthekawguy sent me. I decided to go with a black swingarm just to offset the alluminum colored frame. I think it looks preety good

Thanks mark. She is coming together quite nice. I cant wait till i start it, i wanna hear that sidewinder make some noise. I was thinking about getting some yellow dyna spark plug wires i thik they would look pretty good. I started on the bodywork. I got the tank down to bare metal, and bondoed over the various dents, i got it really smoth, so hopefully soon i will get it into primer, then start painting it duplicolor metalflake mettalic blue. Should look killer with the alluminum frame, black swingarm, and chrome front and rear fenders.

Well im going to see tommorow if the trans fluid unstuck the rings or not. Im hopping the motor will spin over. Iff the motor spins over i will fully put it together.

While I don't have a set of yellow taylor wires I do have a set of the Accel yellow copper core wires I was running on my bike they have less than a few thousand miles on them and you are welcome to have them if you like. I leave to Puerto Rico tomorrow so call me as I am coming out to the burbs TODAY. We could meet up somewhere and I could give them to you.
The motor is seized!? I thought you rebuilt it? By the way the silver looks good on the frame. Helluva lot better looking than the nice black n rust schema you had gone with before. You spray painted that? I thought you said you were gonna powdercoat it. You have to see pics of this bike Yianni is doing. It is powdercoated a dark grey and at first I thought NO WAY that looks better than black now I am thinking might not be a bad idea to go that way on the 79. I want wild with that one! Maybe a blue with a crazy paint job. Not there yet.... Just finished paying the guys for installing all the windows, siding, gutters and roof not to mention the back porch. I can only imagine what the ol girl woulda looked like already had I just put the money not parts from the labor these guys made. Whoa the bike woulda been halfway done. Had I spent on her all the money I would have had two knarly looking bikes finished! Just one more hurdle to overcome and that is the mortgage by June of next year. So I am going to start on the 79 and creep her along with little things until that gets finished and then gonna hit it like a hurricane and build that motor to make even the most respectable guys on this smile and enjoy .

Ya i was going to powdercoat it, but i want to brace the frame and build up the motor for next winter's project, so i will powdercoat it then. I have a 1075 kit sitting on my bench waiting to be put in. Ya it is actually alluminum duplicolor motor rattle can paint with ceramic.....and it is a hell of alot better than the black and rust i had on it when we went riding....lol.
