I know, I know it's freaking huge..... Like what your GF told me....
I'm going to let it sit there for the time being, get a feel for it and see how I like it. Probably will think of something else... smaller like your GF said of you.... :woohoo:

it will give you something to hide behind :pinch: .
kinda like a small fairing
.
a set of stock kz gauge buckets with some custom machined out tops that gave a raised ring around the edge and flat across the center to mount your lights and gauges in would look pretty nice i think.
it would be a cool project,i would be willing to machine one up and see if it was feasible.
feasiblity study ,you know  .
keep us posted,

I also have the triple tree key hole to contend with... Don;t really want to grind it off right now so maybe along this line would be cleaner....
Weld a 1.5" pipe onto the 3 gauge set bottom plate that can be inserted and secured (taped & threaded) through the tree hole. The cables could also run through this pipe.
Hmmmmmmmmmm....![ ](/media/kunena/emoticons/22.png)

None of these are tripping my trigger, personally.
You could make them flush mounts on the top of the tank.

Just saw that gauge on the NASA site...apparently they can see it from space.
Can the gauge on the right also be integrated into the combo unit? If so, maybe a one piece rectangular dash like the 81 and 82 gpz's would work? I like the actual set up you have now but maybe with a smaller circle on the left....maybe a third circle for the ignition in the middle? Just some ideas....

Replaced cases w/main crank cap.
New APE Heavy duty cylinder studs.
Replaced shift drum, shift forks, shift spring and mechanism and all oil seals and gaskets.
I also used stainless steel allen head bolts (kit form Z1) versus those stripped out philip head bolts.
