No problem Roy... As long as it doesn't turn sickly opinionated or political or slam fest frenzy.... ![;) ;)](/media/kunena/emoticons/11.png)
Otherwise I'd have to have it locked out and I'd really hate to do that for I still have some other modifications/additions (dual head lights, final jetting, oil cooler etc...) coming up that I need to add to the project before 100% completing my project...

Patience grass hopper....
I split them apart and have scuffed the bells... Have to pick up some adhesion promoter today and self etching primer... Already have the Black gloss and 2 part clear....
Basically speaking, prep is everything is accomplishing a sweet paint job.... I know, I know Greggy poo
 ....
Goes this way... Today I'll shoot the promoter and primer... Let her sit for 24 hours then wet sand smooth (1500-2000 grit)....
Then I shoot 3 light to med coats of black... let it cure for 7 days... then wet sand smooth to remove all dust bunnies, imperfections, orange peel whatever...
Then I shoot another 3-5 light to med coats of black again... let her cure another 7 days then wet sand smooth again....
Then I shoot 3 light coats of the 2 part clear, let her sit 24-48 hours... Then wet sand especially for orange peeling which clear coats are notorious for....
Then I shoot 3-5 light to med coats of the 2 part clear, let her sit 24-48 hours... Then wet sand again...
Then rubbing compound (hand rub) out to a high sheen gloss finish... Finish off with some Nu Finish wax and she'll be purdy sweet!...
Remove the old, mount her up and she'll be just nasty looking on the front of my bike.... like a big set of boobs! Oops, my bad... Sorry little Jimmy!

As usual, you did a nice job on the installation and paint Dave ![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/8.png)
In the photo, I see something sticking up. Is that your finger or your other thing? Have you been looking at pictures of tattooed granny and getting distracted in the garage again...
