Hello I just wanted to let folks have been following all that I had a pretty serious crash on Friday last week of my 1980 Ste 2 nothing terribly major with medical however I am still in rehab and will be working on treatment for follow-up to some ar m and knee and the hip injuries so while I had did not have any major organ damage or any major bone breakage there is a break it's just not made for me I'm real grateful that I'm as healthy as I am this will be a few months of healing that not the half of your years or permanent disability so very grateful to be where I'm at I have not yet seen bike it is returned to my house but at that point I'll be determining if it's something that sell bowl or if it's something that I can turn into a bobber I don't even like the idea anyhow thanks and Godspeed to all. I do not have any recall of the actual percussion. About what happened as I was going about 55 miles an hour on the highway and the tank and handlebars started to go into a typical suspension tano slapper. There were cars in front of me so I wanted to get to the side of the road however when I tried to get to the side of the road was either too fast or was I had too much debris there and that's where it dumps so in any event talk to you soon bye

Holy crap. Sounds like a blowout or rear wheel lock up. Glad you're able to talk about it and get well soon. :(

Scary what can happen in a fraction of a second and yet knowing the risks we all love to ride these dangerous machines.
So glad to hear that all the bits will heal with no scarring and no permanent damage.
Best wishes
