TurboGuzzi: The black is "heat paint" good for 800 degrees Celcius...donow in that Farenheit 9/11 thing you use Will do the head and cylinder in that black paint so I use it on all black engine parts.
To harden it I run it over with a heat gun (?) Is that the word...looks like a hair dryer for men
Anyway, got a big job done today.
The oil cap got a make over...

Tjena !
For English use Google translate
Yeah I think you could have asked a bit more, 30 000:- seemed to be what the materials had cost you, I think around 40-50k would have been a fairer price...but that might not have generated 40 peoples intrest, but maybe enough that it would have sold.
Yes I'm into the old Kawas as well, currently have a Z1000R (1983) a Z1000J (1983) and a Z1000 ST (E1 1979) and a GPZ1100 (B2 1982). My plan is to keep the Z1000R and Z1000 ST fairly original, do some light rebuilding on the Z1000J (switching carbs, putting on som Öhlins, swing from a GPZ900R) and some major work on the GPZ like doing front & rear end swaps, fitting a newer fuel injection and getting it to run on E85....but before that I need to get a better working space, but that's on it's way as we speak. So hopefully I'll have a propper build thread up and running next year
