    The new extended range Tesla

That was ..... predictable. why not lean into the joke and go with something like "New Tesla: California rolling blackout edition"?

Bless your heart Steve. I know you're baking your brains out there in the Mojave desert -  maybe loosing track of time? So I understand this might be disconcerting, but .... Obama hasn't been president in 6 years. Take care bud.

    The new extended range Tesla

Reminds me of a Reddit post where a motorcyclist lost his charging system 9 hours away from home.
    Supposedly, gixxers eat stators.

You all realize this EV Green stuff is still powered off fossil fuels. Untill they figure out how to charge all the batteries that will be coming off wind or solar it’s not much of a step forward.

Here’s a great comparison. The first two columns do not factor in any cost of equipment. It’s the last two that are as close to apples to apples your gonna get. They use equipment purchased and maintained by a company, you are buying the fuel. It a great example of column 3 your pulling into a EV station every day and filling, column 4 your pulling into a gas station every day. Basically over a 25 year period your saving a little over a $100.00. It comes from this website  www.solar.com/learn/how-many-solar-panel...uel-an-electric-car/

Im neither Pro or against either combustion or electric, electric will be the future, its not right now but it will be. I will own electric one day but Ireland is far from ready for that day yet, till then i drive an 2018 2L Audi A6 AddBlue Diesel and enjoy my many bikes in the summer and commute on my Triumph tiger 1050. Anyone in this debate should watch the below vid, he lays it all out in a non bias way.

I envy you Mikaw. The world must appear so simple viewing everything through absolutes.

NO ONE would EVER buy a Tesla except for its perceived ecological ramifications. It could NEVER have anything to do with buying a 9 second car that you can daily drive.

You strike me as quite the Eco-warrior. So concerned with energy production and such.

And this doesn't take into account depreciation, with EV batteries reckoned to have a ten year life span at best a ten year old vehicle that cost more than a conventional vehicle to buy initially will be rendered worthless as the battery replacement will cost more than the vehicle is worth. I appreciate that we need to adapt if there is to be a world for our grandkids grandkids to live in but there needs to be a lot more development before conventional vehicle production can be turned off (IMHO)

I agree with you Steve. However as an ADMINISTRATOR, do you think posting something like this in line with the site rules? I know you've been kicked off every major platform and this is the only one left where you can share your "opinions". However,  maybe "bike related" is not the place for it.
