When I did mine I used a 2 foot level and marked a line
across the front of my wood work bench and screwed two carb. boot's to
the bench to hold the carb's level.
Piece of plywood clamped in a vise work's good also.

back in the days i use to do them by measuring the height ....carbs up side down.
clear tube seems like alot of work.....

Yes it is additional work, but you get it right the first time. I tried the dry float upside down thing and it is not accurate. After 6 times and the carbs still leaking I gave up and bought the clear tube tool. It took all of the fustration out of it and they were spot on the first time.spdygon wrote: went back to z1enter and found them....$25 for one thats alot.
