keihin 34x4 cvc's? thats what i have on mine. i would have the dude that is looking them over check the overflow tubes to see if they're cracked on any of the float bowls it was pretty bad on mine especially the #1 cylinder- caused some of the spark plug threads from the cylinder head on that cylinder to come up with the spark plug+ i had to buy a whole new spark plug. i.e. float bowl leaking+ less gas in float bowl+ lean air-fuel mixture=hotter combustion+overheating engine= e=mc crushed into square at recycler

I HAVE SPARE OVER FLOW TUBES, if any are cracked.. i think a good 2 part metal epoxy would be a little safer than the fuel line over the tube, but if it works..

May also use solder, JBWeld, or shrink-tube.

Might find a slightly larger thin metal fuel tube at a hobby shop that fits snugly over the cracked tube, and solder it into position.

well my carbs are done and on their way back to me, i should have them mid week. rick did a great job on them (wickedkz). here are the before and after pictures he took during the build.
