Here's an update on our track ya'll remember me bitchin about the new owner
well it turns out Kirk the previous owner now has the track back and is running it again.
Kirk is a racer he run's a super comp. rail his little sister has been driving while he run's the track.

Now if it'll just cool down some I'll go run the bike it was 101 today with a heat index of 111.

VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's

Here's a few pic's from work today heat index was 116 and was this hot in the shop.

Keyboard on the laptop setting on my tool box That M/Fer was having a heat stroke wouldn't work for shit.
This is why I don't ride much this time of year.

It's going to be heating up again next week and I started some outside work. I'll have to start at 6 AM and quit early Getting too old for this SHT. :unsure:
Riding will be cut as well.

ZG1000 front brake caliper mounted today on a mock up front wheel and fork leg.
The bolt spacing on the mount is the same as the 650 but it didn't put the caliper in the right place
so cut up a spare ZG mount then using another mount I cut to fit the caliper.
Cut 2.3 lbs off the front end.

More on the caliper swap this is the stock ZG mount.
Modded mount.

Got out for a ride last night for a test ride I need to re bleed it but it's got way more front brake.

Now for some track shit plan on going next Friday for some test pass's.
My buddy Dan 's planning on bringing his 99 ZRX1100 for some first time ever pass's on a bike.
He's got a few sport bike buddy's that wanna come play he told them he's got a buddy with a
little KZ650 that'll hurt their feeling's 1/8 th mile.

Side note G/F said she wouldn't be mad if I ordered this in the morning.

Most of our trip's to the track it's just Vickie and me and with her M/S it's hard for her to
run around the staging lane's/starting line taking video's in the Texas heat..
