When I enlarged the video to full-screen with highest resolution, the playback would stop every couple seconds and provide a frozen momentary view.
Got me curious how a roller crank is balanced with rods flying all over...
.
Is the crank first dry-assembled, trued and balanced without the rods...then pulled apart, and welded together as it is final-assembled with them?

And I believe the rods are weighed and made to be the same by taking off material to match the lightest one. On their page they show a Harley crank and the welds are tiny compared to other ones I seen.

My 8.1 laptop is having the same trouble. Little note at the top says it's not supported by GOOGLE anymore. Guess it's going the same way as my XP desk top.
Plays fine on my 11 machine....,At least for a while.
BTW these aren't welds only where the prepped it for welding.

Is material removal during the balancing process a possible explanation for the ground-off areas of the counter-weight shown in the image below?:

Looks like it.
BTW Jake Cooper has welded cranks for sale out of drag bikes he's broken down on KZMarket. Also Marketplace. I wonder if he has a 903 crank for sale.
