The cases should be a matched pair. Otherwise you will have fitment issues.

There's two spots for the shifter arm/selector, use the one that matches your trans door, the other one is for the shaft drive setup, ignore it

I talked to the welder and he looked at my engine case.
So if is welding this it will need a line bore/hone after weld process?
Ok so we talked about what to do and we will try a Big Time sert insert .
Never tried this before but looks good and also perfect measurments for this repair.Updates this when done and also told
you that it is cylinder stud, its not it is crank bearing side. :)

It's not the crank bearing? Sure looked like it. The cylinder stud is easy compared to that. Got some wiggle room there. ;)

He can fill the hole, file it even, put the bearing in and cap, then start the new hole with the cap in place. That's how I'd do it anyway.

Id say its way to close to bore where main bearing sits,by the time you get the hole welded up I think youd warp too many machined areas. ;)

Still recovering, some days are better than others.

So i did some work last days and i hope the result is good, but do you think it is good enough?
First thing ,cleaning, Loctite repair compound, cured 72 hours, then i mounted a big time sert.i made up a simple drill jig alumium plate.
As seen on one of the Pictures i order a extra lenght Insert. I t is my first experience wite time sert and it felt very solid. But the last Picture is number one, not shure why that happend. Rune
