This may have already been covered, but if the caps have any built-in resistance, should use solid metal core plug wires (non-resistor plug wires).

A disadvantage in having zero resistance in the secondary loop is interference with radio reception.

It also puts out a ton of EMI (electromagnetic interference) which can make digital meters read nonsense and can sometimes interfere with electronic devices...... like an electronic ignition system. I don't know what circuitry is inside a Dyna, but it uses very low level signals from the magnetic sensors so big hits of radiated interference could mess them up. I would use resistor caps or resistor plugs (don't need resistors on both).

When in doubt with regard to other more sophisticated electronic devices, would use one resistor component in the secondary loop, as suggested by bountyhunter.
Am satisfied with having always used an analog multi-meter (moving needle indicator), as pictured in the FSM's, which doesn't seem affected by EMI.

well guys i planned on running regular ngk plug wires with resistor plug caps and non resistant plugs(b7es), or some of those 7mm spiral core dynatek ones(whatever spiral core means). Unfortunately you cant get just regular plug wires and plug caps at advanced or autozone anymore....i tried....any opinion on this setup?
UPDATE: MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH so upon installing my dyna s ignition system last night i took my timing advancer of and noticed the thing seemed so stiff. i pulled it off finally AND IT WAS RUSTED SHUT! the whole time (my power loss problem, my plug problem, my ignition problem) was all due to the timing advance unit was rusted in place. I threw some liquid graphite in there to loosen it up. finally got the stock rotor off put the new rotor on and the timing advance unit works like a champ now. probably wouldn't hurt to get some new little springs for it though. they are a little stretched.
I am currently waiting on the dyna coil so i can mount and connect everything. i have a feeling shes gunna pur though, now that i got all the timing issues straightened out. Once i get it all hooked up i will post a video. i have a friend working on a mini doc. for me. should be fun.
