My brothers an I were workin at the shop on a cat tractor and we hear an open header kz650 comin down the road a few miles back. He lets up at our place, it was a friend of ours, when I looked up as he's pullin in the drive i see a highway patrol comin in behind him. He comes drivin in oblivious to the cop behind him. we are wavin for him to keep going. he stops gets off his bike and looks up and says what are you wavin for? I pointed behind him (if got off the bike the other way he would have stuck his foot in the drivers window of the cop car) When he turned and saw all that black and white he turned white.
The cop says it depends how honest you are if I'm gonna give you a ticket or not. How fast were you going, my buddy says 115 and the cop let him go.
The cop knew us well he wrote us up one time or other but he did give us a break a couple of times.
I wish I had a picture of the look on my buddy's face. he rode that bike for 4 miles at 115mph with the cop chasing him and never looked back. lol

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.
