I did 190 on my buddies ZRX and shut it down, couldn't see anymore.
My other buddy has a honda blackbird with a turbo it dyno's at 270hp . I didn't have the balls to look down at the speedo but shit was going past me pretty fast .
I got pulled over last week doing 65 in a 30 and got a strong verbal warning. Think I'll just stick with tinkering in the shed

148 MPH on a 1988 Ninja ZX 1O. It was scary. Lol. But fun.

Drive it like you stole it! But be careful..

160 on my buddy's 93 GSXR 750. It was cammed, piped and jetted to run balls out.

With that 1400 you don't even have to drop a gear......lol! It is like a sofa with a Jato rocket attached.

When I leave my buddy behind I want to do it with authority! Really enjoying this bike. I am thinkingof having it reflashed, supposed to really pull up the low-mid range.

My brother lent me his bike in California. 188 indicated on gssxr 1000 with mapped and piped can of whoopass. Still had throttle left but seriously feared getting blown off the bike if I went any faster, that and jail time. Wasn't worried about dying cause that would have been instant. At that speed the slight bends felt like too quick to process and the wind whipping me trying to pull me up. I was bobbing up and down struggling when I just gave up and slowed down. On my rex I do 150 indicated often and that is fast enough for me.

B) Congrats on BOTY, much deserved.

Heading to the girlfriends house on my just run in 84 GPZ900 after an evening shift I thought I had better find out how much faster it was than my ol Z1000R.... wound it up tight through the gears up a new section of road and right at the top of 5th (145ish mph) all went quiet and the oil light come on and things didn't feel right..... rear wheel had locked solid.
Pulled in the clutch but nothing changed.... wheel still locked.
Rode the skid to a stop and dismounted to find the pack I had strapped to the rear seat jammed between the wheel and rear guard.
I usually run a pack rack but as the bike was new I was still waiting for the rack to arrive so strapped the almost empty pack to the seat with the bunngies through the shoulder straps, in case it fell off..... Doh.
The skid mark was 326m long. World record stuff back then but being young and paranoid (and that's several other stories) I was too scared to claim the record. plenty of witnesses and photos of a thin black line snaking up the road and round a long corner (thought it was straight at the time... adrenalin is good sh*t).

Anyways after a change of tyres and undies I managed 155MPH indicated a few times until I spent several thousand dollars hot rodding it for another 10MPH, So 165 indicated is my best.
