hey more the merrier...i can camp or couch or floor the whole damn website...you get here...you will need nothing but a race ticket and earplugs for the race...we got anyone who makes it covered...that is no joke.....

as far as riding ,,,do it to it....when you all get on the bikes and rive home...i'm gonna go sit in a hot tub for two days and recover from race week.......

just so you know...it is nuts here and i usually drive the civic for safety reasons....too many idiots with bikes trying to buy the farm .....really dont feel like getting plowed into by a stunting bike in the car either....but i like wearing sandals and shorts at the track...car is just easier...if folks do ride there is plenty of bikes to see and be seen and also tons of shuttles and we have three cars too...so folks can take a car and bail to the scenes on their own.....

just remember...if even thinking about planning this thing...july gets here fast....not joking...last minute plans are sometimes the only way with work/family....but let the boss know in january that the last weeks of july are yours...i'm getting my work request in first week of feb

[quote Yeah Sean, you're a trooper. "[/quote] Yep. Unfortunately, cuz right now I'm troopin' through not gettin' paid enough to afford a ride like that. Hopefully, things will change by then but there is not much of a dependable economy in Michigan right now.

Lawrence, I don't think the Florida contingent has been looking at a "KZR Chicago Chapter" thread for local ride interest. Hopefully you have posted where they may see this. I am so jealous that you are riding now. If it can't be me then might as well be you! :P Have fun and enjoy.

Thanks Forrest, I didn't think that there so many posts that people wouldn't read all of them. It's cool, next time I ride there I will post a Florida riders thread. I know kawickrice lives there and I thought he would post but maybe he was on vacation.Forrest wrote:

Hey now...
Gene here, Anyone around here near the Kankakee area
that knows these bikes well?
I just picked up a 1980 LTD and a 1981 CSR and both are gonna need some hands on advice.
By all means get with me if your in the area.
The CSR is gonna get restored and the LTD needs a
head gasket (oil leak) just to get me movin in the right direction.
I'm located just west of Kankakee, near Herscher.
