Really though, I had planned to ask about the show..
Whats the chance's of finding KZ parts there?
Will it just be late model stuff or will there be
any vendors for our vintage bikes?
Havent been to the bike show in years.

I kinda like to think I'm some sort of a rider...
Rode all over the mid-west along with running the Dragon :woohoo:
I know I'm late to the game, just bought 2 KZ1000's 80LTD & 81CSR
I'll surely keep the LTD road worthy until the CSR is done.

Can anyone recommend a good place for powder coating & chrome plating south of the city.

North side would be fine for me, too. I have a couple of fenders to re-chrome and I haven't found a local place yet.

Ball busting. I just have noticed a few funny posts that people put up and have read a lot of posts about riding but have yet to see any of these guys out and about. Well, the show has a back area where you can find many independant sellers of "stuff" so it's anyone's guess but it is a good place to go to make a few connections that may lead to other connections. I'll be there with my friend who you could ask and if anyone would know about sources it would be him.
All right. You called me out. But seriously, I want to do the Monterey ride this year. We need to hook up somehow. I really wish I could make the show this weekend, but I can't. PM me, Sax....we need to make sure we get this rolling for summer. Or I'll PM you my cell.

PS: Party after the Bike Show this Saturday at my house. Saxjonz and about 7 other like minded hooligans will be there. :woohoo:

My brother does live in Wheaton, though, and we went to Elementary in West Chi. I'll have to make it down sometime.
