I never liked the square headlight thing. But this bike has changed my thinking about square just because of the sheer acceleration and brute force at which it does it. If they make a new kz with a powerplant and classic looks I will be first in line.
Heck Harley kept the old and unmodern ways and look where they got to. There has to be a standard to ride that looks like the original but improved. Ma Kaw missed the boat in my opinion. Transformer looking Z's don't catch my imagination at all. If I wanted a bike that looked like a plastic bike stripped of the plastic I would buy one and strip the plastic off of it. :side: :S

So Double Dub, we have a few more weekends at best available to ride and this weekend is looking a lot like rain. Let me know if you want to ride.
I would love too, just not sure how plausible it is this year. Been rough trying to make time. Got off to a good start riding up to the U.P. in early May, but work turned out to be a pain this summer and I didn't get much riding in. I think I clocked in approx. 2k this year which is much less than I wanted.

Sorry to add but at least it's a short duration of ~ 2 months compared to those winters you guys have.... That's just brutal...
Ah well Lar, glad the misses is doing well and that young man looks killer... Now the real fun begins watching him grow, get into all kinds of trouble, do all the stupid things we all did... It's a mind blow watching their little brains work....

I haven't been riding much either lately, but I did get in two thousand about on the new bike in the last couple of weeks mainly cause it was a 900 mile ride before I got back and then the riding since then. But I understand how things are. Makes you appreciate the ride even more. Next summer just let me know. I am always down for a little riding.saxjonz wrote:
